Auld Lang Syne

We are stuffed, tired, and boring tonight – and this may be one of the best New Year’s Eves of my life. Natalie went to bed at an almost normal hour, we had way too much yummy Ethiopian food with J&E in an attempt to coax their little one into being born, and we’re lounging on the couch drowsily contemplating bed. And we got a very nice beta hCG result this afternoon: 506 at 16 d.p.o. (i.e. undeniably pregnant, at least at this moment).

2007 was very good to us; I hope that 2008 will equal or surpass it. May it also bring peace, health and happiness to you and yours.

  1. Let me be the first to shout out a happy new year up the street. Yes, it’s a boring new year’s eve, but it’s a mighty good one. Woo hoo, you gals are knocked up! Happy 2008.

  2. Happy happy to you guys, nice beta, and Mazal Tov again – here’s to seeing more of one another in 2008.

    smooshy love,

  3. Happy New Year!
& woo hoooo! on that beautiful beta!

    may 2008 rock hard.

  4. Cheers! Here’s hoping 2008 is a very good year for everyone.

  5. Happy New Year! May next New Year’s Eve be rather more hectic, and involve much shorter stretches of sleep. 😉

(Our local Ethiopian place closed in June and we have been in mourning ever since.)

  6. awesome beta. what a way to start a new year. congrats!

  7. Awesome beta – yay, yay, yay!!! Happy New Year!

  8. Congratulations!
