Nope, Not Yet

Liza and family have probably met their newest member by now.  We’re anxiously awaiting the news.

We’re anxiously awaiting other things, too, but seem not to be headed in that direction yet.  However, thanks to a false alarm on Wednesday, when Carbo decided to move into a more advantageous position and kicked out a little amniotic fluid on the way, we’re a lot more prepared.  Jen’s lessons are neatly planned and organized for her subs, our house is getting cleaner (and yet more chaotic) by the moment, and most importantly, Carbo has dropped HUGELY and seems to have turned from his/her previous posterior position.

Tap, tap, tap…

And, yes, it COULD still be another three weeks.  Fully aware of that.

  1. I refuse to believe, for your sake, that it will be 3 more weeks! Second baby, yo. (Okay, so my SIL was way late with her second and early with her first, but whatev.) And anyway, I am way too excited to wait that long, so you’re going to be getting “come on out, baby” vibes from NYC.
    Love to you all!

  2. SOOOO wishing you had twitter, so I could set up my notices to be SMS, so, you know, I could essentially be ‘alerted” even w/o you having to text me! 😉

    (nudge, nudge, wink, wink)

  3. getting excited for you guys!!! Come on Carbo!!

  4. Don’t forget – it’s a homebirth, so it’s pretty much going to be liveblogged (not quite, but we had updates throughout and an announcement very quickly after Natalie was born, and pictures before she was 6 hrs. old!) 😀

  5. Ok, I exaggerated. The announcement was 4 hrs after she was born and the pix were more like 15. We’ll try to do better this time! Heh.

  6. Come on, Carbo! Don’t make your moms and sister wait three weeks to meet you already!
